X-Clips Cloud Importer is operated for the account owner's personal use. It accesses Google Drive only after the owner grants OAuth permission.
Information used
The service uses the Drive files and metadata required to create, locate, read, and update the X-Clips canonical area managed by the application. It stores imported source-preserving Markdown files, catalog entries, and integrity checksums in the owner's Google Drive.
Use and sharing
Drive content is used only to perform the requested import, catalog, and integrity-check functions. The service does not sell, share, or use Drive content for advertising or model training.
Retention and deletion
The owner controls the Drive files and can delete them in Google Drive. The service does not delete source files during normal operation.
Security
Runtime credentials are stored in Google Secret Manager. Credentials and Drive content are not intentionally included in application logs.
